Great Interest for Invalid-2 in Pančevo

Last night in Pančevo, at the PUPS building on Žarko Zrenjanin Street, we held a promotional event for my second book Invalid-2.
To be honest, I didn’t expect so much interest. The hall was full. Sincere, willing people who asked questions and showed curiosity…
As we talked, I realized that stroke is not just my story. Some of those sitting there had been through the same path. A woman came up and held my hand. “I am also paralyzed,” she said. “But I couldn’t write a book like you.” At that moment, I understood that Invalid-2 is more than just a book. It becomes a reason for someone to say “I exist too.”
I read a chapter from my book. I talked about the days when I started writing with my left hand after the stroke. At first, the letters were all mixed up. But I didn’t stop. Because I knew: if I stop, the stroke wins.
Throughout the night, music played, books were signed, eyes filled with tears. But no one felt sorry for me. They understood. They supported.
Pančevo did not leave me alone. Thank you all.
Stroke is an important issue. But more important than forgetting is learning to live with it. Invalid-2 was written exactly for this reason.
